I created this view of the Titanic and the sky at 11:35 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 1912, by combining the Starry Night sky (with the stars turned up very bright) and an image of the ship from the great adventure game TITANIC: ADVENTURE OUT OF TIME, by CyberFlix. (You can't see the iceberg because it's more than two miles away at the time of this picture.)

I created the ocean in Photoshop by editing a stock photograph of a pond surface. Sienna Software gave me my 15 minutes of fame by putting up a copy of the reduced image above on their web site for a while in 1998.
